Wenhaston is located just off the A12, handy for both the Suffolk Coast (7 miles to Southwold) and countryside. This area is popular with birdwatchers,cyclists and walkers. Locally there is a village playingfield with sports facilities and also several areas of heathland to enjoy. The nearby church is home to the famous Wenhaston Doom painting.
The village is served by a good bus service which also calls at Southwold, Lowestoft and Halesworth where there is an East Suffolk Line train station.
