Village Hall - Centrally located at the junction of Narrow Way, The Street, and Hall Road, the Village Hall is a venue for many village gatherings and events. A result of the energy and enthusiasm of the village people, the Hall provides generous, well-equipped accommodation which is managed and maintained to a high standard by the dedicated attentions of the Committee.
Administration/Government - The Parish Council administers local affairs. The district is run by Suffolk Coastal District Council from Woodbridge, and Suffolk County Council based at the County Town of Ipswich deals with County matters. National affairs are handled by the Westminster parliament and Europe is governed from Brussels.
Police/Neighbourhood Watch - Law is enforced by the Suffolk Constabulary assisted by Neighbourhood Watch, a residents' organisation which encourages its members to report suspicious unsocial behaviour/potential crime.
Heaths and Commons - Church Common and Blowers Common are two of the five heaths and commons of the village and form part of the Suffolk Sandlings.
'Flying the Flag' - Geoffrey and Joyce Goddard raise the flag at The Street entrance to St.Peter's Churchyard to celebrate local and national events.
Royal British Legion/Remembrance - The Royal British Legion cares for ex-servicemen and women and the Remembrance Parade and Service at the War Memorial in Hall Road honour fallen comrades and commemorates the signing of the Armistice at the end of the 1914 -1918 World War.
The Map - The map is decorative to seek to fulfil the aims of the Wenhaston Commons Group to encourage interest, concern and care for the environment. Thus buildings and landscape are shown pictorially in colour and the map decorated with vignettes illustrating the many aspects of life in Wenhaston. A free copy of the map was made available to every household in the village.
