Map Makers - Map Makers of many talents with expert knowledge on a variety of subjects combined to make up a very strong and enthusiastic team. 68 people, including all 34 pupils of Wenhaston School, made the map and several others helped with the supply of information and with exhibitions.

Military Aircraft - The 'ear splitting' roar of supersonic jet aircraft practicing low level flying along the Blyth Valley and the drone of the Hercules engines are familiar sounds of the skies over Wenhaston.

Marsh Harriers - Also at a low level, Marsh Harriers with wings spread in a 'V' shape, glide over the marshes along the river.
