Wenhaston Community Council - The Community Council plays a prominent role in the life of the village, promoting several events and running a Christmas Bazaar and Village Activities Day, when the many village organisations put their work on display to make village people aware of their activities and encourage them to join in. Wenhaston Gardeners Club - The logo of the Gardeners Club features the Tradescantia plant named after John Tradescant the elder, whose family lived at Wenhaston Grange. The Blyth Players - The annual performances of the Blyth Players, the village dramatic society, included a special show for the millennium which reviewed the history of the village and previewed the future. Flower Club and Flower Guild - The beautiful displays arranged by the Flower Club and Guild grace many events at the Village Hall and enhance the interior of the Church. St.Peter's Church - This sheet includes illustrations showing the Minister, some members, and some of the organisations and activities of St.Peter's Church, which is on high ground in its central village location. The Compasses - From its central village location in The Street, this Inn serves food and drinks and has Bed and Breakfast accommodation. |
